About the role

Join our growing Digital team as an Ecommerce Coordinator, where you’ll play a key role in optimising the online customer experience and driving commercial outcomes across your assigned categories. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for ecommerce, data-driven decision making, and digital merchandising. 

About the role 

Reporting to the Ecommerce Trade Manager, you’ll be responsible for enhancing the online merchandising and navigation of specific product categories, ensuring customers can easily discover and purchase what they need. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Merchandise, Marketing, Content, Brand, and Digital, and external partners such as Algolia and Algonomy. 

This is a hybrid role based out of our Chadstone Support Office in Melbourne Victoria. 

Your day-to-day will include: 

  • Managing web category structures, navigation menus, and product placements using PIM and Contentful 
  • Optimising category listing pages and working with Commercial/Marketing teams to maintain engaging, accurate online merchandising 
  • Supporting the launch and performance of guided selling tools and product recommendations using Algonomy. 
  • Reviewing on-site search data and improving product descriptions or boosting rules to lift performance 
  • Providing actionable insights through Adobe Analytics to influence strategy and category growth 
  • Monitoring competitor websites to identify new opportunities 
  • Leading ecommerce input into the range review process for your categories 

About you

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring: 

  • 2+ years’ experience in ecommerce or digital marketing, ideally in a fast-paced retail environment 
  • A strong grasp of web analytics (Adobe or Google) and experience using data to guide online strategy 
  • Proven experience in website content and merchandising with a focus on commercial outcomes 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills 
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects 
  • A proactive, analytical mindset and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively 
  • An interest in ecommerce, digital innovation and online customer experience
