We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for an Executive Manager Digital Marketing. This role will report to the General Manager, Marketing.
A bit about your role
As the Executive Manager Digital Marketing, you will lead the enterprise-wide digital marketing strategy, governance and transformation initiatives. This includes setting the strategic direction for 1:1 communications and digital engagement and ensuring alignment with nbn’s customer experience vision. You will oversee investment decisions, represent digital marketing at executive forums, and provide leadership across business units to drive innovation and consistency in digital marketing delivery.
In this role, you will define and lead strategic plans for digital channels, user experience and CRM platforms, guiding a high-performing team of digital marketing professionals. You will oversee the creation of user-engaging content across owned digital touchpoints, including the public website, customer centre (3rd party information platform), email and direct mail. You will also lead the development of personalised lifecycle marketing that support customer retention and growth, ensuring all activity meets regulatory and compliance obligations.
Your leadership will bring clarity and cohesion to a complex digital landscape, enabling nbn to deliver seamless, end-user focused experiences.
A bit about you
The successful candidate will bring strong, demonstrated experience in senior digital marketing roles within large, complex stakeholder environments. You are confident leading digital teams across matrix organisations and managing external partners such as agencies and consultants. You have a proven track record in delivering digital, data, and platform strategies.
You are strategic and collaborative, with deep expertise in 1:1 communications and digital marketing channels, UX, analytics, and enterprise platforms. Your experience with marketing technology including automation platforms and direct mail processes is essential. Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is highly regarded.
With your commercial acumen and inclusive leadership style, you will help shape a digital marketing function that is innovative, user-focused and aligned with nbn’s long-term vision.
