About the role

As Programmatic & Audience Sales Manager at Are Media, you’ll be at the forefront of driving revenue through smart, automated advertising and targeted audience strategies. Sitting within our Advertising Sales team, you’ll unlock the full potential of our premium digital portfolio; maximising programmatic opportunities and connecting brands with highly engaged audiences. Working closely with agencies and advertisers, you’ll bring campaigns to life through innovative, targeted solutions across some of Australia’s most loved lifestyle and entertainment brands.

Duties

• Develop and execute programmatic sales strategies to meet quarterly revenue targets
• Build and maintain relationships with trading desks, DSPs, and programmatic agencies
• Create audience-based advertising solutions using first-party data and insights
• Collaborate with ad operations team to ensure campaign delivery and optimization
• Analyse campaign performance data and provide actionable recommendations to clients
• Present programmatic capabilities and audience segments to prospective advertisers
• Monitor market trends and competitor programmatic offerings
• Support the broader sales team with programmatic expertise and training

Skills and experience

• 3+ years experience in programmatic advertising sales or digital media trading
• Strong understanding of DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, and ad serving technologies
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in digital advertising
• Experience with audience segmentation and data-driven advertising strategies
• Knowledge of privacy regulations and their impact on programmatic advertising
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for client-facing interactions
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret campaign performance metrics
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
• Familiarity with Google Ad Manager, The Trade Desk, or similar platforms
