Named Hotel of the Year at the 2025 Australasia-Pacific Hotel Design Awards, Drifter is gaining recognition for its bold design and unique guest experience. Now, we’re on the hunt for a Digital Marketing Director who can amplify our voice, drive performance across digital platforms, and grow our brand presence globally.

Your Mission

As our Digital Marketing Director, you’ll lead the charge in shaping and executing our digital marketing strategy across all properties. From SEO to socials, website to influencer campaigns – you’ll ensure every digital touchpoint feels on-brand, drives traffic, and converts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Website & Analytics: Manage and optimise our brand website, track performance using Google Analytics, and report on web traffic, conversion, and user behaviour.
  • SEO & SEM: Own and execute SEO strategies and SEM campaigns across Google Ads to drive direct bookings and brand awareness.
  • Social Media: Lead strategy, content direction and campaign execution across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Meta Business Suite, including paid media and performance reporting.
  • Email Marketing: Oversee B2C and B2B email campaigns using Revinate and Salesforce, including segmentation, automation, and analytics.
  • OTA & Content Management: Manage and optimise listings and content across online travel agents (OTAs) to ensure brand consistency and maximise visibility.
  • Influencer & PR Management: Build and maintain relationships with creators and media to generate buzz, grow reach, and support property launches and activations.
  • Lifestyle Brand Partnerships: Identify and manage strategic collaborations with aligned brands to deepen guest engagement and unlock new audiences.
  • Reporting: Create monthly performance reports and connected dashboards with clear insights and recommendations across all digital channels.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years’ experience in digital marketing, ideally in hospitality, lifestyle, travel, or youth-focused brands
  • Proven skills in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads, Revinate and Salesforce (or similar)
  • Strong grasp of content strategy, campaign performance and digital storytelling that drives engagement and results
  • Budget management experience across paid media, digital campaigns, and brand partnerships
  • Proven success in launching multi-channel campaigns in new markets
  • A creative thinker with a keen eye for brand tone and cultural relevance
  • Highly organised, self-starting and adaptable with great communication skills
  • Proficiency in Ai process enhancement
  • Experience with offshore team management
  • Ability to travel to Drifter properties for content capture and campaign needs
