Digital Marketing Manager

We’re on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Digital Marketing Manager to join our vibrant Marketing Team on a 12-month parental leave contract.

2024 was a huge year for The Coffee Club. We launched our new Three Stories Specialty Coffee Blend – our first new blend since 1989. We partnered with MasterChef, and we celebrated our 35th Birthday. We refurbished 31 stores with a totally new look and feel, and there’s even more to come in 2025.

What is the role?

In this exciting role, you’ll take the reins of our digital marketing strategy, driving customer engagement, brand loyalty, and sales across digital channels. You’ll lead one direct report and work closely with our Head of Marketing and cross-functional teams to bring digital campaigns to life.

The key responsibilities are:

• Lead the digital marketing strategy to support key business goals across loyalty, sales, and brand engagement.
• Own the digital campaign calendar across website, app, eDM, social and paid channels – from planning through to execution.
• Optimise our online ordering and food delivery platforms in partnership with aggregators.
• Manage and grow paid media performance, including Google Ads and programmatic advertising.
• Drive development across our owned platforms, including SEO-focused website enhancements and app engagement strategies.
• Deliver insights and performance reporting to continuously optimise campaigns and maximise ROI.
• Champion digital innovation and share knowledge to uplift internal capabilities and digital confidence.

Who are we looking for?

You’re a strategic digital marketer with a proven ability to execute across owned and paid channels. You thrive in fast-paced environments, balance creativity with data, and love bringing ideas to life that resonate with customers.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing, ideally in food, retail or franchising.
• Experience leading loyalty programs and working with digital ordering platforms.
• Strong knowledge of CMS, ESP/marketing automation, social media tools, analytics platforms, and customer data platforms (CDPs).
• Exceptional project management and communication skills, working cross-functionally and with agencies.
• Experience developing and implementing social media strategies.
• Prior leadership experience – even in a mentoring capacity – is highly regarded.
