The role
Kayla Itsines has tens of millions of followers. As her Social Media Coordinator, you’ll run her channels day-to-day; planning and publishing content, managing her community, tracking performance, and keeping everything moving at the pace her audience expects.
This isn’t a support role. You’ll have real ownership over what goes out and how the brand shows up online- and your work will be seen by millions of people, every single day.
What you’ll do
- Keep the content calendar running and aligned to campaigns, launches, and partnerships.
- Publish daily across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Meta, and really care about the details.
- Write captions that earn engagement, not just fill the box.
- Shoot, create, and edit content where needed, including real-time posting at events and getting on camera when required.
- Edit short-form video with a good eye for pacing and what’s trending on each platform.
- Be in the comments and DMs every day, responding in a tone that feels warm and genuinely Kayla.
- Chase approvals, wrangle deadlines, and coordinate with creative teams, editors, and videographers.
- Track performance weekly and bring recommendations, not just numbers.
- Spot trends and platform changes early and bring them to the team before they’re obvious.
- Collaborate with Creative, Brand, Partnerships, Marketing, and Production teams.
- Manager content shoots and behind-the-scenes logistics as required.
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years in social media coordination or content creation, in a fast-moving environment.
- Real, hands-on knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Meta; you know what’s performing right now, not what was trending six months ago.
- Experience editing social-first video; you understand pacing, hooks, and what makes people stop scrolling.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to match a brand voice without needing a brief.
- Great organisation: you’re the person who never drops the ball.
- You flag problems before they happen and come with solutions, not just questions.
- Experience working closely with talent.
Bonus points
- You’ve worked on a personal brand or creator account before.
- You’re across scheduling and analytics tools like Sprout, Later, or Planoly.
- You can edit photos or you’re handy with Canva.
- You genuinely love health, fitness, and women’s wellness.
- You’ve worked in an agency or in-house at a brand doing things at scale.
